Place Keys provides property and local information, saved research and alerts, and tools for participating businesses and agencies. Use these services honestly and only where you have authority to act. Account registration is for adults aged 18 or over.
Accounts and invitations
Keep your sign-in details private and your contact information accurate. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Founder membership is free for life, under the terms shown when you join. It’s for your personal Place Keys account. Joining doesn’t give you business or admin permissions, or change any permissions you already have. You don’t need to post reviews, invite friends or keep using the site to keep your membership.
Information and availability
Coverage and update times vary. Check the source dates and limitations shown by each tool, and confirm time-sensitive details with the council, operator, listing agency or other relevant provider. Property estimates and calculators are general illustrations. Information on Place Keys does not replace professional advice or an official confirmation. We do not guarantee continuous access, a complete result for every address or availability of a property or service.
Agencies and published content
You must have permission to publish listings, photographs, branding and other material. Keep prices, availability, contact details and required compliance information accurate. Agencies are responsible for their listings and customer dealings. Publishing, domains, distribution and paid options are subject to the details shown in the relevant workspace; creating an account does not itself publish a website or complete domain setup.
You keep ownership of your content and grant Place Keys permission to store, format and display it as needed to provide, protect and moderate the service you use. Do not submit unlawful content, impersonate others, misuse personal data, fabricate reviews or attempt unauthorised access.
Reports and changes
We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, legal requirements or breaches of these rules. You can ask us to review a decision using Safety & reporting. We may repair or change features and will take reasonable steps to bring material changes affecting existing users to their attention where required.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful. We remain responsible where the law makes us responsible, including for failure to use reasonable care and skill. These terms use the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections or court rights available where you live.
