Due to roadworks, Rownhams Road will be closed between Rownhams Lane and Botley Road between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 from Monday 21st September until Wednesday 23rd September. The Bluestar 5 will operate its normal route as far as Botley Road and then divert via Firgrove Road and Rownhams Lane to continue to its normal route. The Bluestar 4 will divert along Rownhams Lane. The diversions will operate in both directions.

Due to a road traffic collision on Manchester Road/Drake Street in Rochdale, bus services are currently operating on diversion.

Services towards Rochdale only are diverting via Manchester Road, St Mary's Gate and Newgate.

Waterloo Road, between Oxford Road and Lancaster Road, will be closed from Saturday 19 September 2026 for approximately 4 days, between 0900 and 1500 each day.

Service 47 • From Crossens will be as normal route to Lulworth Road, then via Weld Road, Liverpool Road, to the Waterloo Road roundabout, Liverpool Road, then as normal route to Liverpool. (Omits Waterloo Road). Alternative bus stop: Lulworth Road, near Gloucester Road and Liverpool Road, near Carr Lane. • From Liverpool will be as normal route to Liverpool Road, then continue via Liverpool Road, Weld Road, Lulworth Road, then as normal route to Crossens. (Omits Waterloo Road). Alternative bus stop: Liverpool Road, opposite Nixons Lane and Lulworth Road, near Weld Road.

Due to a police incident on Upper Hanover Way, the Blue and Yellow trams are currently terminating at Cathedral. Blue route will not serve Cathedral to Malin Bridge at this time. Yellow route will not serve Cathedral to Middlewood at this time. Ticket acceptance is in place with First Bus 52a, 81, 82 services.

Due to roadworks on the B3232 between Alverdiscott and Torrington daily between 0800 and 1800, services 71/72 will run on diversion between Great Torrington and Roundswell Roundabout. Devon County Council have organised a replacement taxi service between Alverdiscott and Barnstaple, please see the attached timetable for more information.

Services 71/72 will not serve stops between Torrington and Roundswell Roundabout between 0800 and 1800, daily between Monday 21st September and Friday 9th October. A taxi shuttle service has been organised to provide a shopper journey to Barnstaple.

Due to works, the bus stops at Finkley Down Farm on Walworth Road will be closed from 08:00 on Monday 21st September until 17:00 on Friday 16th October. Temporary bus stops will not be sited for this closure. Please use an alternative stop.

Services to Ashton will omit Bridge Street and Carr Lane, and continue Oldham Road and Shaw Hall Bank Road. Services to Oldham will omit Chew Valley Road, Wellington Road, Carr Lane and Bridge Street, and continue Oldham Road and High Street.
