Marshalls Cross Road, between Scorecross and Elton Head Road, will be closed from Friday 11 September 2026 for approximately 2 nights, between 2200 and 0200 each night.

Service 30 ⦁ From St Helens/Chain Lane will be as normal route to Marshalls Cross Road, then via Robins Lane, New Street, Mill Lane, Clock Face Road, then as normal route to Widnes/Green Oaks. (Omits a section of Marshalls Cross Road). Alternative bus stop: St Helens Hospital, Marshalls Cross Road, Hospital Entrance, stop A and Clock Face Road, near Mill Lane. ⦁ From Widnes/Green Oaks will be as normal to Clock Face Road, then via Mill Lane, New Street, Robins Lane, Marshalls Cross Road, then as normal route to St Helens/Chain Lane. (Omits a section of Marshalls Cross Road). Alternative bus stop: Clock Face Road, near Mill Lane and Marshalls Cross Road, opposite Robins Lane.

Ormskirk Road will be closed, Northbound between Copy Lane and Switch Island, from Monday 7 September 2026 for approximately 6 nights, between 2100 and 0500 each night.

Services 300 and 310 From Liverpool will travel as normal to Warbreck Moor, then via Park Lane to Dunnings Bridge Road, then continue via Dunnings Bridge Road, then as normal routes to Lydiate, Weld Blundell Arms and Skelmersdale Bus Station (omitting Ormskirk Road). These services will call at the stops on Warbreck Moor, near Church Avenue; and Liverpool Road South, near Northway.

Due to carriageway resurfacing, A32 Brockhurst Road will be closed between the junctions of Cambridge Road and Russell Street from Friday 11th September for 11 nights. The closure will be between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00 each night, Mon-Fri only.

A diversion will be in place via Foster Road, Bury Road, Privett Road and Military Road.

From 2000 On Friday 11 September Until 0500 On Friday 25 September 2026 (2000 Until 0500 Each Night For 14 Nights) Penistone Road North is scheduled to be temporarily closed in the direction of City Centre only between its junctions with Wardsend Road North and Herries Road for carriageway resurfacing works. Services 7, 8, 8A, 31, 32, 86, 97 are subject to diversion.

Services 7, 8 , 8A towards City Centre to divert via Wordsworth Avenue, Herries Road, Herries Road South. Service 31 towards City Centre to divert from Halifax Road via Southey Green Road, Wordsworth Avenue, Herries Road Service 32 towards City Centre to divert via Penistone Road, Wordsworth Avenue. Service 86 towards City Centre to divert via Halifax Road, Southey Green Road, Wordsworth Avenue, Herries Road, Herries Road South. Service 97 towards Hillsborough Interchange to divert via Wordsworth Avenue, Herries Road. Services 7, 8, 8A, 31, 32, 86, 97 towards Wadsley Bridge are unaffected.

Due to works taking on Roe Cross Road, bus services will be on diversion.

Services will divert via Mottram Road, Acres Lane, Cheetham Hill Road, Ashton Road, Mottram Road, Hattersley roundabout and Hyde Road in both direction.

Due to a road closure on Peel Way, bus services are on diversion.

Services will divert via Jubilee Way in both directions.

Ashton Road will be closed overnight 2000 - 0600 from 23 July to 17 Sept 2026

Due to an obstruction, services will be diverted.

Services are diverting via Robin Park Road in both directions.

Overnight road closure on Treliever Road in Penryn.

Due to the overnight closure of Treliever Road for works by Cormac, services 3, 32A and 33 will be unable to serve Penryn Railway Station, Harbour View, or Packsaddle Estate. Buses towards Falmouth will divert back via Treluswell Roundabout, the B3292 and Browns Hill between Penryn Campus and Penryn High Street. Buses leaving Falmouth will divert on Kernick Road out to ASDA Roundabout between Penryn High Street and Penryn Campus.

Woodchurch Road, between Ackers Road and Church Lane, will be closed from Wednesday 9 September 2026 for approximately 8 nights (Not including the weekend), between 1900 and midnight each night.

Service 16, 17, 418, 423, 471 and 472 • From Eastham Rake/New Ferry/Liverpool will be as normal route to Woodchurch Road, then via Ackers Road, Home Farm Road, Meadow Crescent, Arrowe Park Road, then as normal routes to Arrowe Park Hospital/Laird Street/Seacombe/Heswall Bus Station. (Omits a section of Woodchurch Road). Alternative bus stop: Woodchurch Road, near Palmwood Close and Arrowe Park Hospital, stop C and Arrowe Park Road, near Landican Cemetery (471/472). Services 418, 423 471 and 472 • From Birkenhead Bus Station/Seacombe/Heswall Bus Station will be as normal routes to Arrowe Park Road, then via Church Lane, Home Farm Road, Ackers Road, Woodchurch Road, then as normal route to New Ferry Shorefields/Liverpool. (Omits a section of Woodchurch Road). Alternative bus stop: Arrowe Park Hospital, stop C and Woodchurch Road, opposite Palmwood Close.

Services are diverting via Rocky Lane, Folly Lane and Worsley Road in both directions.

Leeds Inner Ring Road is closed due to bridge inspection works from Monday 7 September to Friday 11 September between 1900-0600.
