There mature height will not exceed the balcony level to en- sure the newly created views across the parkland can be maintained over their lifetime. The mix is made up of native species that will sit inconspicu- ously amongst the surrounding parkland planting whilst also contributing to biodiversity. Berries and blossom will provide a food source for wildlife. The shrub layer will be underplanted with native spring bulbs to provide colour and interest in the early months before the shrubs have come into leaf. They will also provide insects with valuable early nectar.
