Proposed Tree Works Specification - Rear garden (as per submitted plan/photos) Tree Group 1 Silver Birch (x2) The two Silver Birch trees are currently subject to dense ivy growth climbing throughout the stems and into the crown structure. - Removal of all ivy growth from the main stems and primary scaffold branches to ground level. - Crown reduction of approximately 1.5/2 metres, reducing overextended branch tips back to suitable secondary growth points. - Lateral reduction on the side adjacent to the boundary fence Tree Group 2 Ash (x1) - Removal of ivy growth from the trunk and main structural branches. - Crown reduction of approximately **2 metres**, reducing branch length to suitable growth points. - Crown thinning by approximately **15?20%**, selectively removing secondary growth to improve light penetration and reduce wind resistance, while retaining a natural crown form.
