Reduction proposed to reduce end loading whilst retaining the tree. Deadwood removal (>50 mm diameter) considered exempt. T2 (Tayles Hill House) - Crown lift to 3 m over driveway (Section 211). Routine management to provide adequate clearance over the driveway. G10 Thuja (Tayles Hill House) - Fell (Section 211). Extensive basal decay, basal cavity and progressive canopy dieback. Poor physiological and structural condition. G10 Elm (Tayles Hill House) - Fell (Section 211). Advanced decline associated with Dutch elm disease. No realistic long-term retention. T9 Cypress (Tayles Hill House) - Fell (TPO). Moribund with poor physiological and structural condition. No realistic prospect of recovery. G14 Sycamore (Tayles Hill House) - Fell (TPO/Section 211 subject to Council confirmation). Climbing inspection confirmed longitudinal stem crack extends beyond the cambium into structural wood, confirming a significant structural defect warranting removal.
