What is being proposed?
X2 Mature Ash (back garden and encroaching from Railway land) - Sympathetic 2m crown reduction to growth points, where possible, on the western crown of the trees. These self-set trees are now semi-mature specimens. They have not been managed for over 10 years and are now causing considerable shading and are increasingly dominant. Nothing is growing in the garden underneath, and the limbs are becoming overextended.The aim of the works is to ease loading and therefore reduce the risk of failure into the garden and seating area, and to improve light below.
