THE PROPOSAL

What is being proposed?

Reduction to 1 x London Plane (T5) by 1.5 meters off the top and 1.5 meters off the side, with a final height of 21 meters to be achieved, crown lift to provide 5 meters of clearance all around and crown thin by 20% to take out some of the sail from the canopy to prevent failure and to help with airflow, reduce 1 x mature Horse Chestnut (T3) by 6m back down to the existing pollard points (top), and the sides to also be reduced back to the old knuckles (final height of 19m) to ensure the new growth supported by rot pockets won't fail, and also that the large wound that is structurally compromised also won't lead to a failure and push back the lower branches by around 2 meters and to remove the lowest branch back to the stem to 1 x Deodar Cedar (T4) so that the branches are away from the driveway and in line with the start of the lawn
