Tree works
What is being proposed?
T1 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce the crown by approximately 2.5 metres in height, 2 metres on lateral branches. Tree height 17 metre, crown spread 10 metres. Maximum pruning cut diameter 18-12cm. Reasons - The tree has been heavily reduced historically. This has lead to large pockets of decay in the historical wounds. The application is to carry out reduction of new growth since the original pruning, aiming to reduce the risk of limb/crown failure at the point of decay.
