Front porch and single storey rear extension.
Proposed loft conversion with rear dormer.
T1 Cotoneaster - crown reduction works specification to include a height reduction of 1.5m and spread by 1m, pruning back down to historical reduction points, cutting back to strong suitable secondary growth, shape and balance.
T1: Part of an old conifer hedge, to be replaced with a Prunus lusitanica hedge (quoted between 2m and 4m for immediate screening) as per the attached survey and planting plan. T2: Already removed by others after the survey. We plan to replace trees in this area and add Fagus sylvatica 'Atropunicea', Cornus kousa, and Viburnum plicatum 'Kilimandjaro'. T3: Dead tree, already removed by others. T4: Conifer to be removed. It is growing directly next to a large Pittosporum that is leaning over the pavement outside the property. It is impossible to remove one without damaging and undermining the other, and the Pittosporum needs to be removed for highway safety. We plan to replace these with a row of Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer' (minimum girth 12-14cm), which is much more in keeping with the property's style.
Installation of 2no. internally illuminated 'McDonald's' letterset.
Proposed single storey side/rear wrap around extension and front porch extension (part retrospective).
T2 Magnolia - Height and spread pruning to maintain canopy shape. T3 Killarney Strawberry Tree - Light height and spread pruning to encourage existing crown shape, prune basal growth. T4 Handkerchief Tree - Light prune to achieve shape and form, as in red on image.
Internal alterations, alteration of two windows in the north elevation and installation of a new screen fitted to the west elevation.
