Common Lime (Tilia × europaea) Selective crown lift and lateral reduction of the lower branches extending into the application property. Remove or shorten the lowest overhanging lateral branches as necessary to provide approximately 3m clearance above ground level, and reduce the lateral spread of the remaining low branches by up to approximately 2m, pruning back to suitable growth points and maintaining the natural form and balance of the crown. All works are proportionate, do not exceed recommended limits for a single reduction cycle, and are in accordance with BS3998:2010 (Tree Work ? Recommendations). T1 Magnolia Grandiflora - a beautiful and much-loved specimen growing near to the rear of the property. Applying for a general reduction in the canopy by up to 2m in height from 7m to 5m and by approx. 1m in radial spread in all directions from 4m to 3m. Also, a slight lifting of the canopy by 1m, so that it is level with the top of the boundary wall. The idea is to present a more compact, globular form which doesn't restrict the view of the garden from the rooms on that side of the property.

The very large white popular (Populus alba) has a large limb growing over the property roof. The end of the limb has a large rot pocket it and the rotten centre has fallen out nearly hitting the residents child playing under the tree. There is still a lot of growth and weight on the end of the limb and there is a very strong fear the limb may fail either damaging the property or hitting the residents child playing of family in the driveway. I strongly suggest the limb is reduced by around 2mtrs back to sound wood again to eliminate the risk of future snap outs. As this work is extremely high priority can I request it on a 5 day emergency decision.
