1no. Larch (T1) - Reduction of over extended lower laterals by up to 2m. Large tree, signs of small basal fungus. Relatively small work to lessen likelihood of failure. 1no. Willow (T2) - Pollard to old cut points approx. 3-4m, maybe reduce the wood further if showing signs of decay. Previously pollarded, over new garden shed. Routine Maintenance. 1no. Oak (T3) - Reduce overhanging lateral growth by up to 2m to a suitable growth point. Lessen encroaching from next door. 1no. Ash (T4, in group TPO) - Reduction in height by up to 2-3m and reduce longer lateral growth over next door by 1-2m. Leaning over neighbour, exposed with a high likelihood of failure. 2no. Sycamore (G1) - Fell. Raised by neighbour, trees have significant lean over neighbouring property with poor form and structural defects. 4no. Sycamore (G2) - Reduce to old points, approx. 2m reduction. Routine maintenance.
Erection of a two-storey side extension and a single-storey rear extension.
1no. Sweet Chestnut (T1) - Fell twin stem to 8ft monolith poles for habitat due to decay at base and in crown. 1no. Silver Birch (T2) - Fell tree to 8ft monolith for habitat due to completely dead crown. 1no. Conifer (T3) - Reduce height by 10m to reduce top heavy weight and reduce chance of snap out.
1 no. Common Beech (T1) - Fell to ground level. Meripilus giganteus has fruited annually at the base of the tree, indicating an established fungal colonisation of the structural root system. Recent inspections have identified a noticeable decline in physiological condition when compared with previous years. Significant reduction in canopy density. Progressive thinning throughout the crown. Increased areas of sparse foliage. Premature leaf discolouration. Reduced vitality compared with adjacent healthy Beech specimens growing under identical site conditions. Replacement planting can be undertaken in accordance with the Council's requirements.
