T1 False Acacia: (TPO) Remove the two main unmanaged codominant stems by cutting back to the primary fork at 6 metres. Retain the lower epicormic growth up to a maximum height of 8 metres. Finished dimensions: Height 8m, Width 6m. The tree exhibits advanced physiological decline, a thinning canopy, and a highly vulnerable unmanaged codominant stem structure. Multiple unidentified fungal brackets are present at the stem and root flare, indicating significant internal wood-decay. Recent branch failures have created safety concerns for neighbouring residents. Due to the likely severity of the decay and the high-target risk area, total removal of the tree is fully justified on safety grounds. However, this application is submitted as a pragmatic alternative to removal. Initiating a reduction to a 6-metre framework will completely eliminate the high-leverage codominant stems and drastically reduce wind-loading on the compromised root flare. This work is proposed as a risk-mitigation measure to safely retain the lower trunk habitat and a portion of the tree's amenity value, avoiding the immediate need for complete felling.
Rear Garden T1 - Leyland Cypress Fell to ground level. Remove wisteria where possible and retrain along trellis using loose cable ties ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY. • T1 Leyland Cypress is located in the rear garden of the property as shown on the map provided. • The tree is in decline and has the potential for failure. • Removal of the tree will allow for a more suitable species to be planted.
T1 – Sweet Chestnut Monolith to a final height of approximately 4 metres, leaving a safe and stable standing stem where appropriate. This is due to the tree being heavily in decline.
T1 & T2- Lime trees, pollard back to previous points, removing approximately 7 meters of growth. T3- Small Holly tree to remove to ground level as this is growing against the shed. T4- Apple tree, cut back overhang to fence line. Tree is growing in next doors garden.
Back Garden (Left Boundary) T1: Judas tree – Reduce height by 0.5m - 1m through selective thinning, remove major deadwood Height of tree currently: 4m Height of tree after reduction: 3.5m Spread of tree currently: 4m Spread of tree after reduction: 3.5m Back Garden (Right Boundary) T2: Rowan tree – Reduce height by 1m, reduce sides by 0.5m, lift canopy by 0.5m, remove major deadwood Height of tree currently: 4m Height of tree after reduction: 3m Spread of tree currently: 2m Spread of tree after reduction: 1.5m Reasons for work: General tree maintenance Trees in decline Maintaining tree in its current setting
