Terminate all lateral cuts approximately 1 metre short of the shared fence line. Retain a balanced, natural canopy shape by pruning back to suitable, growth-ensuring secondary branch junctions. Remove all deadwood, diseased, rubbing, and structurally crossing branches throughout the canopy to improve safety and health. Remove excessive ivy growth from within the crown to reduce wind-sail effect and open up the canopy for visual inspection. Sever the ivy stems at the base of the tree trunk to kill off remaining upper growth and suppress rapid re-growth. Tree pruned to maintain health of and shape.

T9 (Oak) Reduce canopy back to the previous pruning points. Following completion, the tree would have an overall height of approximately 16m, and the crown would have an approximate radial spread of 4 metres (north), 3 metres (east), 6 (south) and 6 metres (west). Remove epicormic growth extending over the garden. Remove deadwood over footpath. By pruning back to the existing reduction points, the works will maintain the tree within its established management regime and maintain its size and form appropriate to its environment. Removal of epicormic growth on the garden side will increase the usable garden space beneath the canopy.
Details pursuant to conditions C2 - Refuse Arrangements, and C9 - Renewable energy of planning permission PA25/0980.
