Side of building T1 Tree of Heaven x 1 (Ailanthus altissima) The Tree of Heaven has exceeded its recommended pruning cycle and requires pruning to maintain a safe and manageable crown. This species is known to produce vigorous regrowth from previous pruning points, and as these shoots increase in size, the risk of branch failure from the old pruning points also increases due to their attachment. Maintenance is therefore recommended to reduce the likelihood of branch failure and maintain the tree in a safe condition and increase light to the property. Suggested work: Reduce to the previous reduction points approx 3-4m leaving furnishing growth. Reduce back from the property to ensure at least 2m clearance.
