(Omits Southworth Road, Golborne Dale Road and Warrington Road). Alternative bus stop: Crow Lane East, near The Avenue and High Street, near The Parchments and Bridge Street, near Park Road.

Northgate Street will be closed 11& 12 Oct 2026

Towards Bolton only, services are diverting via Lovers Lane, Atherleigh Way and Wigan Road.

During the University Open Day on Sunday 11th October, services will not use the University Interchange between 08:00 and 17:00.

From 0800 on Sunday 11 October Until 0600 on Monday 12 October 2026 (For One Day and One Night Only) Sandford Road in the direction of Tickhill Road between its junctions with Pembroke Avenue and Byron Avenue is temporarily closed due to utility works. Services 22, 372 are subject to diversion.

Service 22 towards Worksop to divert from Balby Road via High Road, Cross Street, Low Road, Tickhill Road, resuming normal route on Tickhill Road. Service 22 towards Doncaster is unaffected. Service 372 to divert via Greenfield Lane, Hall Flat Lane, Cross Street, Tickhill Road, resuming normal route on Tickhill Road.

Liverpool Road, between Kingsway and Princess Drive, will be closed on Thursday 8 October (from 1900 to 0500); Friday 9 October (from 1900 to 0500); Saturday 10 October (from 0700 to 2300); and Sunday 11 October (from 0700 to 2300).

Services 10, 10A and 10B • From Queen Square/Liverpool One Bus Station will be unaffected. • From St Helens/Huyton will be as normal routes to Liverpool Road, then via Seth Powell Way, Woolfall Heath Avenue, Terminus Road, Stockbridge Lane, Liverpool Road. then as normal routes to Liverpool. (Omits a section of Liverpool Road). Alternative bus stop: Liverpool Road, opposite Seth Powell Way and Liverpool Road, near Page Moss Avenue.

Wigan Road will be closed between 8am and 7pm whilst maintenance works take place. As a result, bus services will operate on diversion.

Services are diverting via Atherton Road, Liverpool Road, Moss Lane, Warrington Road and Darlington Street/Warrington Lane in both directions.

East Lancashire Road, at various junctions between Gillmoss and Moorgate Road, will be closed on Sunday 11 October 2026 for approximately 1 day, between 0300 and 1300.

Service 14A From Queen Square Bus Station will be as normal route to East Lancashire Road, then via the slip road to go over East Lancashire Road, Randles Farm Interchange roundabout, School Lane, Knowsley Lane, Ormskirk Road, Coopers Lane, South Boundary Road, Moorgate Road North, Britonside Avenue, then as normal route to Tower Hill. (Omits a section of East Lancashire Road and Moorgate Road North). Alternative bus stop: Willow Way, near Petherick Road and Britonside Avenue, near Shaldon Road. From Tower Hill will be as normal route to Britonside Avenue, then via left into Moorgate Road North, South Boundary Road, Coopers Lane, Ormskirk Road, Knowsley Lane, School Lane, Knowsley Wood Lane, East Lancashire Road, then as normal route to Liverpool. (Omits a section of Moorgate Road North and East Lancashire Road). Alternative bus stop: Britonside Avenue, near Moorgate Road and Callestock Road, near Willow Way.
