T13 ??? 1 x Scots Pine Pinus sylvestris.- to fell. Height - 14.5 m DBH ??? 635 mm Spread: North ??? 2 meters West ??? 7 meter South ??? 7 meters East- 2 meters The tree is located in the grass area to the right of the access path leading to the main entrance. The psychology is good with a good amount of foliage throughout the tree. The tree shows historical phototropic growth with leaning towards the property on the west and south with all branch growth in this direction. This would indicate growing with completion with large trees to the north. Evidence of street trees which has been removed and a newly planted Lime in its place and an existing street tree, Oak Quercus which has been lopped and topped at 8 meters. There are wounds on the main stem; Wound 1 on the south side at 0.5 meter Wound 2 on the west side at 1 meter Wound 3 on the South west side. Elongated with server resin bleeding. With reactionary growth on either side. Wound 4 ??? A large open wound (Due to historical poor branch removal) located at 5 meters. The wound has a width of 400mm and a height of 580mm. The diameter of the wound 540mm with a depth of the cavity at the same point 400mm. Wound 5- elongated open wound to the south side at 6.2 meters. Width of wound is 170mm and height of 800mm. There is reactionary wood around the wound. Both visual and actual evidence of animal activity. Whilst carrying out the inspection 3 squirrels vacated from the lowest hole on wound 4 and from the hole in wound 5 indicating that the whole section is hollow. Wound 6- There are 5 branches historically removed with good reactive growth. Due to the tree being hollow with loss of live, active wood on the compression side, where the conifers would support themselves. There is a large amount of growth, weight on the same side causing leaning. This is a high target area with high foot fall with a risks of injury to persons as well as damage to the property, therefore we recommend the felling of the tree, stump remova

T1: Lime at front of property - remove major deadwood. Rear Garden T2: Oak - Crown reduce by 5m to previous points leaving tree 15m tall and 5m wide. T3: Oak - Crown reduce by 5m to previous points leaving tree 15m tall and 5m wide. T4: Oak - Remove major deadwood. Remove lowest branches to re-shape crown.
Front : Dying Mountain ash - remove. Adjacent Ash tree - reduce by approx. 2 metres and remove deadwood. Rear : Large Laurel tree next to garages - remove. Rear Boundary : 2 Large Horse Chestnut trees - reduce smaller tree to 2 metres below old cutting points. Larger tree - reduce to same height as smaller tree after cutting.
T1-Mimosa Previously reduced with dense and extensive regrowth Reduce crown back to the previous pruning points, 1-2m from branch tips T2-Oak Heavily leaning tree, Previously reduced with dense and extensive regrowth Reduce crown back to the previous pruning points, 2-3m from branch tips
T1 - London Plane - Reduce crown by approx. 2-3m in order to take new re-growth back to previous pollard points. Remove all epicormic growth and major dead wood. Justification - This tree appears to have been historically pollarded, with significant secondary regrowth now developing beyond the previous pollard heads. Returning the crown to these established pollard points will maintain the tree within its historical management regime, preventing excessive limb extension and reducing the risk of structural weakness associated with long, end-weighted regrowth. T2 - Large Yew tree - Lift all lower growth to a minimum of 10ft. Justification - Crown lifting will improve clearance within the garden and around adjacent planting, while retaining the tree???s natural form and canopy structure. The works are limited and sympathetic, removing only the lowest growth to improve accessibility, usability of the garden space, and light penetration, without adversely affecting the long-term health or amenity value of the tree. T3 - Lime tree - Fell to ground level. Justification - The lime tree is of poor form and overall low visual quality, with extensive epicormic growth, basal suckering and unstructured regrowth throughout the canopy. This indicates ongoing stress and a lack of long term structural integrity. The tree is poorly positioned within the garden, limiting its suitability for retention and conflicting with the intended layout and use of the space. It does not contribute positively to the setting and is not in keeping with the overall garden design. There is ample alternative tree cover within the surrounding area, and the removal of this specimen would not result in any significant loss of amenity or canopy value. For these reasons, removal of the tree is considered justified and appropriate. T4 - Lime tree - Reduce crown by approx. 30% taking all new re growth back to previous reduction points and strip all epicormic growth and major dead wood. Justification - Given th
T1 Holly (x1) Fell to ground level. Reason: The tree is growing in an unsuitable location and is being supressed by a much larger, adjacent tree.
